Beware of Unauthorized Attendee List and Housing Solicitation
From time to time, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees of BIOGAS AMERICAS may receive emails from companies claiming to sell the event’s attendee list or offer discounted hotel accommodations.
These companies are not affiliated with the American Biogas Council or BIOGAS AMERICAS.
Attendee Lists
The American Biogas Council does not sell attendee lists.
If you receive an email claiming to offer the BIOGAS AMERICAS attendee list for sale, it is fraudulent. These messages are typically sent by third parties using publicly available industry contacts or scraped email lists and are not connected to our event.
Housing Providers
The American Biogas Council works only with official hotel booking links provided directly by our team. Any company contacting you about hotel reservations for BIOGAS AMERICAS that is not listed on our website is not authorized by our organization.
How to Identify a Scam
Unauthorized emails often:
- Claim to sell the BIOGAS AMERICAS attendee list
- Claim recipients have “opted in” to receive contact information
- Ask you to reply to receive pricing or database details
- Use the name of our conference or organization without authorization
What You Should Do
